Oh my god. I can’t even begin to tell you what Erica’s program has done for me. I feel so much more alive and engaged in everything.
Before, I was basically going through the motions. I feel like I’ve come back to myself and that has affected everything I do. I feel more confident in my work. I feel I can go deeper without scaring myself.
I used to think that the issues in my work were about technique. But technique by itself really means nothing. Now I make choices in my art from this deeper place in myself.
I learned to take pressure off myself and make allowances for when I needed some time off. I surprised myself by feeling more in control and doing better work.
If you are thinking about working with Erica, I would wholeheartedly say go for it! She met me where I was without preconceived ideas of where I should be, or even where I should go. Erica takes the time to listen and ask questions to draw out your deepest thoughts, and your journey is aligned with who you are. That is the most impactful thing a coach can do for you.
It was definitely worth it. It was worth much, much more.

I feel more confident and calm now. I feel more excited about how my work is enjoyed by other people and how it fills a role for other people. I’m able to see its value better. Before, I was feeling like my work wasn’t good enough, which translated into not selling and not offering it.
I hit my money goals and took on projects that I really liked and were a good fit. I quit my job to work on my art. And I created three times as much work in three months as I did the whole year before.
I found that I can rest and that my business doesn’t fall apart when I take a break. In order for me to create a sustainable business, it needs to include rest. And I know that I made more artwork by resting more.
When I came out a rest period, I started working on a major project that had been giving me a lot of anxiety, but I felt calm about working on it.
Working with Erica was like giving a gift to myself. You don’t have to do it all by yourself. You can find somebody to help you.

When I first started working with Erica, I was lacking clarity and a vision for my business. I had days of procrastination and not feeling motivated. I was feeling stuck as an artist and like I was fighting myself. I had been struggling with imposter syndrome and was thinking I needed to adapt my work to be like somebody else.
Erica helped me reset my mindset and empower me so I wasn't beating myself up about not getting things done. She helped me think about how I wanted to feel in the studio more than equating productivity with success. It gave me courage to listen to how I’m feeling rather than always pushing on the throttle. And to slow down when I need to. Going forward, I know I need to incorporate breaks throughout the year to help me stay fresh.
I feel more at ease in my studio now. I paint more and enjoy the process more. I’ve found my voice and gotten comfortable with the niche I've created with my work.
I enjoy the business side of it, too – I used to get overwhelmed. Before, I was seeking experts for advice, like in my marketing. I know now I’m fully capable of marketing. Erica helped me realize that my client relationships are invaluable and my people enjoy hearing from me. And that’s part of the success of my business.
I broke through my financial ceiling and now I have a multiple six-figure business. For two or three years I’d met one financial goal but I couldn't quite get past that. Working with Erica helped me break through because I have more confidence now. I just trust the journey more.
My biggest gain was learning to trust myself more.
I trust my creative process, trust my voice, trust the direction I'm going in. I trust where I am in the moment and don’t fight it. I trust I’m continuing to grow. I have the comfort of knowing I’m okay where I am. I’m giving myself way more compassion. It’s all good. It’s awesome. I’m in my studio and it’s a great day.

Before I worked with Erica, I was working with the pathways that friends and academia preached to me for years. I was satisfying short term goals but still aimless for long term planning.
Working with her, I learned about how to create an everyday artistic life. I’m so much more centered on my art practice and how I want to live and the lifestyle I want. And I no longer feel like I have to choose being only one type of artist. I feel like I can do it all now.
Through Erica’s guidance, I decided to start Little Lau Shop, a product line that honors and celebrates everyone’s inner child. I pushed past my baggage with money and being financially stable. I was able to awaken an entrepreneurial spirit and create a business plan that has helped me create a sustainable art practice for the future.
I have a better understanding of planning for the long term, treating my work like a business, financial projections, marketing, and honoring my work and what it offers to others.
I’m so deeply grateful for her time, insight and belief. I feel more confident and hopeful about my career.

By working with Erica, I've defined what really matters to me between my need to relax and enjoy life and my need to create and participate in the art world.
This has helped me define what I want, what I am willing to do and what I am unwilling to do in order to be a functioning artist and maintain my sense of integrity and value.
The thing I liked most about working with Erica is that she focuses on personal development. She helped me dig deep into my own assumptions, thoughts, and feelings about myself, my work and art in general. That’s a hard thing to do and a very hard thing to do by yourself. It doesn’t occur to you where there’s a crack that can open something up.
I now feel grounded in my own vision and my own goals. I rely less on outside reactions to evaluate my work and my perspective.
I’d highly recommend working with Erica to anybody who’s doing soul searching and anybody who has questions about the place for art in their life. Erica is a person with great depth, honesty, and integrity that enables her to be an extraordinary coach!

I used to think that an art career had to look a certain way, and that I had strayed too far from the traditional path. I had been telling myself I couldn’t live the life as an artist I wanted. Erica helped me to see this was only true if I allowed it to be. I now know I can envision and create my own path.
One of my biggest challenges was a fear of failure. Working with Erica has helped me realize that our “failures” are our own perception, and they help us think about what we want.
I started a business and gained clients immediately. I surpassed my money goals. I am implementing strategies to address negative thoughts and overcoming anxiety to believe in what I know I am capable of doing. This experience has been invaluable to gain clarity and know that achieving my goals is as simple as doing.
If you are considering working with an artist coach, you’ve already made the decision to shape your own life as an artist. It was a wonderful step towards taking charge of what I wanted, and I am so thankful to be on this journey with Erica.
